Default 2000 Ex Power Door Problem..Help!

I have a 2000 Ex civic that when I purchased it, it had a 96-98 ex door on the driver's side but the correct 2000 Ex door on the right side. The power locks & Remote fob would never work for the driver's door , but always worked the passenger side. The outside of the passenger door was damaged & I was able to find a pair of 2000 Si doors for a good deal, however, as soon as I replaced the Driver's door, all of the controls for the passenger side stopped working. I can put the Drivers window up & down fine & the key fob now locks/unlocks both passenger & driver doors, but the Passenger window will not go up or down with either the driver or passenger side control & the physical lock button on the driver's side dosnt work either. I then replaced the passenger side door & still the same thing... Any ideas of what could be causing the issue? oh, and I've made sure that the window lock button is not on lock..

Thanks for any help or suggestions!

I had a similar problem on a toyota in the past....it turned out to be a bad driver side door panel switch. I swapped out the panel and it was fixed. In yota's the system works in a loop so if the driver side goes bad, the passenger wont function.

Ok thanks... The issue is im using the same switch that was working before with the old driver's door. It used to roll the driver & passenger window down & the lock would unlock only the passenger door. As soon as I plugged in the new & correct 2000 Ex door, with the same controls..the lock button doesnt function & the passenger window wont go up or down, but the driver's side will & the key fob will still lock & unlock both..

A common problem with power doors is that wires sometimes get broken at the connector in the door jam where the door harness couples to the dash/floor harness. Some voltage and continuity tests should pinpoint the problem.

I appreciate it, I'll take a look tonight, Im sure something could have been damaged in the removal/instal of the new door.
