Proposed 4 cyl in line 1100 standard?

I've heard Honda may be developing another 'in line' 4 cyl soon, as a standard 1100cc. Anyone else heard about this?

They released the info for the new CB1100 on their website.

It's been out of the lineup since the 80's.

I highly doubt they will make a CBR1100 RR as a super sports bike. You can get a VF1200 but that's just a regular sport bike, nothing fancy. The cost of designing an engine would not outweigh the sales like on a ZX14R or Busa.
