i have a 89 crx si and it wont start but the motor it cranks but wont start so i changed the fuel pump,dizzy,ignition coil.ignition module,spark plugs, etc after i did all that it still didnt wanted to start so then i changed main relay,ignition switch and same result..i changed all these part and theres no spark coming out and i dont know what else can it be or where to look at pretty much gave so can anyone help me or what else can i look at or be thanx..?

 

since when it dosent start did you change something... It Might be stupid but is your timing belt broken or is your timing is well set!??

Chek your rotor in your dizzy is it holding with the screw or else it will spin freely

 

well its been sitting for about a year bcuz i moved but my dad started once a week but i been trying to start it like two months ago ..yea my timing belt is good and its set and i replaced the rotor too

 

plug wires? Did you replaced all those parts with brand new parts or used parts?

yea the fuel pump wrk just fine i could hear it..well the ecu does flash or anything theres no light or flashes when i try to start the car?

 

Does it have fresh gas in it from tank to rail?

 

yea i put in a gallon of gas when i chaged the fuel pump?

 

On my freind's car that allready happend that is alternator was seised and wasent turning.. just cuzz of the belt draging on the alt pulley it wasent starting... Didnt turn fast enought!! It happen often wen the car sits for too long.. so we removed the belt, crank it and vroummm like a new!!

 

so are u saying to check my alternator and belt??

Possibly the ground wire attach to the thermostat housing?? just a wild guess..

check your resistors box, trust me when i tell you two crx didnt want to turn because of it, only after we fixed it did it turned on

Might be a bad ground... Grab some booster cables, clamp it on your engine one one end and on your body on the other end then try it... If it work change all your ground

 

best it controls everything it gives the injectors permission to spark the plugs

did you try the starter and check all the grounds?

 

I recommend checking the resistors box first after that do what the other people are telling you to do

 

its mpfi ..how would i check the resistors box if its good or not?

 

To check you resistors box open it, then with a test light check each and every connecting hole of the connecting clip

 

Make sure the resistors box has power then with the test light check every whole and if doesnt light up then your resistors box not sending power, even if one dont light up you have to change it unless you find a way to bypass it

 

take it to a shop have them do a diagnostic check should cost like 75$.
