Default availabiltiy of a 97 R

I know that they only imported 700 1997 Type r tegs but, how hard are they to find? Is it impossible? That car is next on my list to buy. maybe....

700? I thought there were approx 350 US 97's and approx 150 CDN 97's... making closer to 500. Which makes them even harder to find!!

I wouldn't worry about getting a 97 or 98, BUT CW is a must!

Back in the 1960 Mexican Grand Prix was the winning Honda race car PY or NHB/FBP? NO! it was championship white baby.

I didn't realize until I read one of the original (us at least) articles about the itr that the reason they chose CW was the mexican grand prix circa 1960! Good stuff!

Wouldn't it be the other way around? Why do you think they're white?

There were 318 ITR's sold in 97 in the US. I have a letter from Acura stating just that. I might be interested in selling mine. I would have to have an offer of roughly 17K. 1997 ITR, #98, never wrecked or dinged. Few MINOR paint chips, damn near perfect. 50K miles.

If you have a copy of that letter to post I'd appreciate it.
Here's a copy of the '98 one I'd found a while back. Ed
