97 civic lx. Driver but needs work $1,500 or trade?
Here's the deal, put a lot of time into this car and im just done messing with it. suspension was just done and has a small clunk not sure where its coming from. makes the noise when starting out in first gear. The motor just started clattering and I have had enough. I think it may be the input shaft bearing but to be honest I'm not sure. The car is 100% driveable and can be driven daily, motor is just making noise.

THE BAD
-the car has a rebuilt title
-leaking oil between engine and trans(which is also why i think it's the input shaft bearing)
-the car is rattle canned flat tan. paint is flaking and tiger stripped. driver's fender sticker bombed. The car has dent's dings and rust. rust isn't very bad though
-interior is in ok condition
-NO ac, power steering, or cruise.
The Good
*Brand new windshield
*New front brakes(rotors and pads)
*all four shocks are brand new
*new energy suspension bushings in front upper and lower control arms, shock mounts, and energy suspension tie rod boots
*all new suspension hardware
*new no name rear lca
*brand new exhaust from the header back
*99-00 si front end conversion. hood is in bad shape and bare metal
I can't think of anything else at the moment if I do I will update this post. I want this gone asap. $1,500 firm firm firm, or trade for a need nothing daily driver.

^^ you are correct sir. meant to say that I think the leak is coming from the input shaft seal and the rattle is coming from the input shaft bearing. But upon further inspection I believe that its leaking from the seal where the shift linkage enters the transmission.
