Hi I have a civic type r ep3 2002. Not has the car long, the other day I was driving along and there was a huge scraping noise underneath my car and engine managemeant light flicked on. I looked underneath my car and i pulled out what looked to be a exhaust hear shield near the manifold. But then I came to a wire with two ends not connected to anything? This wire must have been below my heat shield or very near by. But I have noticed my car mpg is terrible like 60miles to £20..? Only had the car a week? What could this wire be?? Please please help
