So i been trying to fix this the last couple days and no luck... had map sensor CEL but i got that fixed

o2 is disabled same with knock sensor

SYMPTOMS: Hard to start and when running i have to keep revving or it dies out... seems to run fine when going above 2500rpm.

Misfires, smells like unburnt gas and decent amount of white smoke

when it dies down i "burbs" white smoke out intake

FIXED:
map sensor CEL
Checked mechanical timing
calibrated TPS
New spark plugs
fpr and injectors off of running car

NEXT:
valve lash clearances
Egr valve



How do i check the external coil if its gone bad?

any ideas?

 

What do you mean o2 is disabled ? Why would you want it disabled ?

White smoke normally means issues with the engine. What are your compression test numbers ?

 

it was 190 across

its disabled so it rules out that its the o2 reading wrong... would it help if its enabled?

i have it disabled on my turbo cars and never caused this problem

 

what ecu do you have?
