so i ran my trans low on oil and smoked my 3rd gear bearing on the main shaft. I went to a local trans shop and they said go to honda and the guy at honda said that they send there transmissions out to get fixed. Does anybody know where i could get a new bearing/bearing kit from?

 

You can get the bearing from your local Honda dealer. Normally the dealership rebuilds manual trans, automatics always go out for repair though. In either case you can order the bearings through the dealership.
