Power to fuel pump probs!!! Plz help!!
Hi all,
Recently purchased my Dc5, standard apart from exhaust and induction kit. Was overtaking and went into the vtec for a short period and on coming out of the vtec the car started to bog down and lose power.............initially I thought low oil and pulled the car in asap...checked oil and 'little-to-none' showed on the dipstick...however, after cool down oil reappeared. Attempted to restart, car turns but does not prime the fuel pump and obviously no start. Checked and there seems to be no power to fuel pump!!! No warning lights or overheating!! Any ideas that I can try to diagnose the problem?? or any similar difficulties experienced by anyone?? Car is fitted with toad alarm and immobilizer!! Seems all fuses are in order...grounds appear to be ok and fuel pump primes when connected direct to 2nd turn of the ignition. Has anyone got any further thoughts? Plus does anyone know if I can drive without damaging ecu, etc with fuel pump linked directly to power?? Ta.
Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions!!!

First of all respect the car and respect VTEC.... If you can't spell that right it's all over before it started. Especially on a Honda forum... I know it has nothing to do with your post but EVERYONE is going to read that and insult you right off the back and forget about helping you with your issue.
Now secondly you need to buy yourself a power tester and start from the source and work your way back. Is there power at the fuel pump? Yes or no go from there. If not check the fuel pump relay which is located behind the glove box. Then go from there.
