Default Throttle Body Differences between trim levels

Hello all, hoping this will be an easy question.

I have a 97 Civic HX (5 Speed) and I'm looking to go out and purchase a cold air intake - my question is are the throttle bodies all the same circumference between the different trim levels for 97? I'm just wondering because there are all sorts of different kits out there but some of them say they're for an EX only, or a DX only, etc.

Thanks!

They say that because the Y7 has an upward facing IM/TB, whereas the Y8 has a standard facing IM/TB.

So, since the motor I have is the Y5, I should get a kit that I'd compatible with the Y7 or a Y8?

Thanks again. :D

So you have an HX. This is why this rule exists:

For all technical questions, the following information MUST be included in the first post: vehicle (year, make, model) and engine (if not stock, year, make, model, OBD type).
AFAIR, the Y5 has a standard position IM/TB. If you can't find one specifically for the HX/Y5, go with one for the EX/Y8.

I said what make and model I had in my second sentence.

Thanks for the answer!

Hmm, late night, brain must have skipped over it. My bad.

Do yourself a favor and get a bypass valve for your CAI. It's $50 towards preventing a bricked motor.
