Default Good engine builder in North Carolina?

Im looking to get my B18B built for boost. I already know about RLZ but theyre quite a distance from me and I heard they stay busy(slower turn around)

Can anyone recommend a good shop in NC particularly around the Raleigh/Durham area? My last forged engine lasted about 6 months so I still have a sour taste in my mouth about that.(It was tuned) Im still on the fence about getting a sleeved block because if I do, I want to make sure its with someone that knows what theyre doing.

Thanks

I've always liked National Speed in Wilmington...don't get a lot of press from the Honda community though

So google maps is saying all of these places are as far or further than RLZ. I guess no one in the RDU area is building?

There is. I myself had a friend do my engine and he did a couple of other friends engines as well. He's the only person I trust to work on my car other than my tuner. But when it comes to recommending a shop, I'd rather it be a good established shop that, in the event you're not satisfied or something happens with your build, the shop will stand behind their work and fix the problem until you're satisfied. That's why I recommended National Speed and not anyone local. If you just need an engine put together with the parts you supply, then I can recommend someone local.

Phantasm can ship your motor out to ERL. There is a machine shop down the street from them called T-Hoff that I have used on a couple builds before and they did good work if your not looking to sleeve the engine. Haven't lived in the area for 10 years so I can't comment on actual engine builders. 10 years ago I could have told you who NOT to use

I do know when ERL dropped the ball on my engine that Phantasm took the high road and resolved the problem at their own cost.
