Its been over a year since I did a build, so I have been having the itch to get something going. I sold the Dc2 that me and the rest of the GGP guys built in December and I've regretted ever since. Since then I have just been just been buying run down, neglected, and or stripped cars, then repairing and restoring them for resale. I purchased this 99 R81 Em1 from a buddy over the summer with intentions to just make a quick flip but didnt go as planned. While the R81 Em1 sat in the garage collecting dust, I went through 3 failed attempts with other projects that were intended to be nice builds but some how the cards never fell into place with them. So in a last ditch effort, me and ironcheftony (balony) turned to the Em1 sitting in the garage and decided to bring her back to her former glory, but with some slightly better mods that Honda left out. As we talked about what could be done on the car, I dropped the a bit of a bomb on Balony, I said lets get this done by the next show which was the Hot Import Nights series which was about less than a month away. He hated the idea as usual but making things happen in such short time was what we love to do so we made it happen.
Threw on an extra set of 5 lug and mis matched wheels that were laying around

Getting rid of excess

Whats left

Laid some color down....second times the charm

Got some lines made to my specs, same day thanks to hose-fast

Made a call to the guys at Dallas Jdm Motors, got hooked up!!!

Getting things mocked up

1 1/2 weeks later she is running! Of course we had to get a QT shot

Test fit the front end, roll fenders, making holes and cutting things up

Laying some more R81....second times the charm

3 weeks later, here she is!

The trunk is still waiting on some love

Threw on the track wheels :p

Special Thanks to ironcheftony and Dallas Jdm Motors on making this happen!
