Default 96 Acura GSR Oil

Hey guys . Wondering what reasons my teggy would be burning oil.. and loosing oil.. i recently changed the water pump valve cover gasket timing belt.. im trying to get the teggy back to working order before i do any performance upgrades so far the car has a V2 aem cold air intake.. (came with the car) not sure if its been tuned.. etc..

Is it burning in mostly in Vtec? Try some 10w40 oil and see if it helps

might be the valve seals or piston rings,valve seals are pretty cheap and you can replace them with the head on with a speacial tool if you know what your doing.

Its actually a few tools... A compressor, adapter to thread into the sparkplug hole, spring compressor and fun stuff like that...

yea just the tool above, a compressor, a comp. tester and a few sockets and you can perform
it. Thats why i posted the thread above! heres it again good thread!

Bad rings, blown head gasket, leaky valve seals all sorts of things. Take it to a mechanic to run a diagnostic test. Or buy a haynes manual and try it yourself

Also the tool from euro exports works perfect. I have 1 and its well worth it

very quality piece! comes anodized and a nice magnet flat head to use for grabing and putting in the keepers. Just got mine a few days ago.

do a leak down test and it will tell you what you need to fix
