Default h22 question

Will all H22 parts interchange (H22a1,A2, A4, A). I've looked on google and yahoo cant find anything out. Because I traded up a H22A2 and i'm just wondering if parts from the A, A2, A4 will fit.

No, not all parts interchange. OBD1 vs OBD2 means numerous things on their own don't swap over, ie injectors, dizzy, oil pump, etc. Also the '98+ blocks have 55mm main journals for the crank vs 50mm for earlier years.

Yeah i've found some stuff like the mains are differant. The motor is in a 92 prelude i traded for so i'm guessing that it is a obd1. Because it looks like the factory F series trany and harnes. Mostly i'm tryin to figure out what aftermarket parts will swap like the cams and rods, gaskets etc. all helps appreciated

There's not a lot. Even the distributors can be different, some are internal and others are external coil.

Head parts will all be the same, i.e. cams, springs, etc.

Rods should all be the same, but the crank and block could be either 50 mm or 55mm mains, so that needs to be known for bearing size and compatability.

Pistons could be a few possible sizes, based on what market the A2 was meant for, as the US market compared to other markets has different compression ratios, but should all be 87 mm bore.

You will probably get more help in the Accord forum, or just search the net for those lights and see what they sell for new, and go from there based on quality and completeness.
