euro h22 and american h22 motor parts
I have a euro h22 motor in my civic and my crank, bearings and 1 rod went bad. I was wondering if I could use north american parts from an h22 or do i need the crank, bearings and rods from another Euro h22.
Also where can i go about getting either of these parts, all help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Cory

Those motors are the same. The only difference is some pollution ****. Internally they are the same.

THe pistons are different: Type S/Euro R=11.0/ USDM=10.1, If your crank is toast it would be more economical to but another motor, cranks run a min of 2500.00 plus install if you don't know how to accomplish the task yourself.

pistons are different...anyway you can replace Euro-R H22a bottom end pieces with 98+ H22A4 pieces..they are the same. Do not use 97, the crank mains are too small
