Why does my eBay type r lip not fit?
Pisses me off its too short on one side.. Is that what I get for buying eBay parts? Or am I stupid? I'm a Honda noob just got a stock 94 eg. Thought I'd make her look purty before swappin her out. But this type r lip is about 3 inches too short horizontally and i thought maybe it was supposed to be a tight fit.. But it won't fit! Am I just fuking retarted man or what. Someone give me some input please.
The lip is suppose to be a tight fit. You should have also gotten 4 screws; two go on each side to hold it in place. When I got mine, it was a little short too. Easiset way I found to do it is, to put the center on first than wrap it around the bumper. Before you screw it to the bumper, make sure that it`s straight all the way across or else it`ll look stupid haha.

Lol unbelievable...
eBay lips are fine. It sounds like you probably received the wrong one. My mugen rep fit almost perfectly on my EG. It seemed maybe half an inch short on the side but still fit just fine.

Your topic title basically sums it up for the most part. You get what you pay for, but I'm sure with a heat gun and or other modifications you can get it to fit properly.
IMO - it's worth spending the extra money just for the quality.

i was playing with one at work, not realizing they get so hot. We got one that'll get up to 800-900 degrees in about a minute. (or enough to take hair off your hair in an instant)lol
you dont have to use a heat gun you can just leave it out in the sun for about 20 -30 mins (depending on where you live, the hotter = less time out) it makes it flexible enough to manouver into place
most of the time when ordering off ebay make sure to leave a message to the seller reguarding the year and make of the car for whatever products you are ordering... but as everyone else stated it is a hit and miss process dealing with ebay sellers
Go to feedback, display 200 items per page, ctrl+f what you're looking for. Helps so you can read feedback on the EXACT product you're ordering. I've steered away on many items by doing this and went with a different seller with no issues whatsoever.
