Default 91 Ef hatch si swap d16y7

I know this is asked a lot but what is the parts needed to do the swap? I've got a stock mpfi Motor 5 speed si trans. What are the other things needed to do this swap.

The FAQ should tell you. Pretty well know answer available in lots of pages through the H-T search and google/Yahoo/etc.

When it comes to a basic/generic/standard answer it makes a OP look ignorant not taking the time to search for it.

Just sayin..

Ok why a slow engine? Going for mpg? Even if so, I'd still go for a d15b vtech with some aerodynamics.

Parts need for swap

Motor
Tranny
Driveshafts
Shift Linkage
Engine/Tranny Mounts
Engine Wiring Harness
ECU
Intake Manifold
Exhaust Manifold
Alternator
Distributor

There isn't just one way to do it, depending on your budget.

Put the motor in, use your obd0 ecu and distributor and intake and harness.

Or, convert to obd1 and use a z6 cam gear w/ obd2 distributor and a p28 or non vtec equivalent.

You don't need a new engine harness. You don't need a new transmission. you don't need new axles.

Easy way pull out old motor

Bolt up intake n exhaust manifold n distributor

Use the old motor mounts

Replace clutch (match to trans)

Fill with oil n enjoy

I'm hitting about 425 miles per tank in my y7 swapped dx

How is this with acceleration? Does it go, or is it a modest eco car? Never noticed your build...

Was thinking of getting a si and putting in a Z6

Need nothing.. re-use everything, including the pulley.. I think the only thing I changed was the intake and exhaust gasket.
