Upper control arm, OEM or aftermarket? 94 civic
I recently brought my car in to a shop to get my steering checked out and found out I had some play in the ball joints. I can get some oem style upper control arms for 100 a piece that have a lifetime warranty but are not made by honda but are a napa brand. Should I go for these or get a front camber adjustable control arm like hardrace or blackworks?? I have read that hardrace control arms tend to hit and bottom out on the shocktowers. I think my one shocktower is a little dented and not sure if this was caused by the oem upper control arm. I would rather stick with oem if I am going to have issues with the control arm hitting the frame.
I am going to be installing new function and form type 1 coilovers as my suspension needs an upgrade. I been using neuspeed race springs on stock shocks and just feels really sloppy now. Also going to be installing blackworks LCA's and rear tie bar. Is there anything else I could do to upgrade my suspension??
I also installed new r1concept premium rotors and posi quiet ceramic pads. I plan on doing the rear drums next since I have a blown wheel cylinder. Ordered some powder coated drums, shoes and hardware. Probably order some stainless steel brake lines as well.

I cancelled the blackworks control arms right before they were shipped. Whats wrong with the blackworks rear tie bar??
I ordered some moog control arms from ebay they seem like they are decent and are pretty much like oem. The local napa ones have life time warranty but I got these moogs for half the price and I'm not sure about the quality of the napa ones.
Anyone know how much raxle cv shafts go for??

Tie bars don't do anything, they just sit there. You will see no gain what so ever by installing it.
I totaly forgot about Moog. Yes, Moog parts are great!

I'm updating my suspension and want to know if adding a sway bar would work with what I am going to be installing and would improve how my car handles. Right now my car handles like crap thats why I am in need of a upgrade. Do you guys have any other suggestions on what I could do to improve my setup. I know the rear tie bar and lca's are more for looks.

I meant will the tie bar be in the way if I was to install a rear sway bar. And would OEM sway bars in the front and rear be a good upgrade for my suspension? My car is a 94 civic si coupe so I should have swaybar on the front and my blackworks LCA's have 3 mounting positions for swaybars. I was going to get some function and form LCA's but decided to go with blackworks to match the tie bar.
Sounds like you shouldnt do a ******* thing to your car. Start reading these forums, then in like 6 months time when you absorb some of the information here and you understand the basics of car tuning, then start wasting your money on car parts.

You definetly should have a front bar, but IIRC, you should have a rear also. If I am incorrect, please correct me.
The 3 mounting points are supposed to make the sway bar "stiffer."
If at all possible I would return all of the blackworks parts.

I do have a front sway bar. My 94 si is a coupe.. I think in the USA they did a 3dr instead. I also have no abs, no rear swaybar and rear drums. Would I be able to bolt an oem rear swaybar on without any issues? What's a good price for one from the wrecker?
