Default S2000 Push Button Start

I have a S2k push button on the way for my 95 Civic. I've searched about wiring it.

My problem is, my starter never worked with the key. I had a generic push button on my car but it broke a few days ago. So I decided to go ahead and order the S2k button.

On my old button I had a wire from the starter (signal wire) to the button, then from my fuse box (power) to the button.

My question is, what wires would I splice into? My button on the way has the pigtail.

If you have one wired then you already have the wiring spliced that you'll need but maybe wait until you actually get your new button in the mail to start comparing. Better yet, maybe look into fixing the original problem with the starter.

This is the setup I have in my car using a generic engine start button (which is basically just a fancy momentary switch) and normally open relay.

S2k buttons are nice, but expensive.

Maybe they wont notice the red button that says "Engine Start".
