re-seal them..? after 25 or so years the plastic pulls away from the sealing material which probably is also dried out, caregully taking them apart, cleaning them and resealing is what I would do.

Silicone the gasket to the taillight works very well aswell, ensures a leak free seal and can still be easily removed from the car

Use your old gaskets as templates and trace them out on some similar blk neoprene like material. (why I kept an old set,something i STILL need to do on my crx) I've even heard of glopping pretroleum/or grease on old dried-out seals to seal em...

petroleum jelly in a small enough ammount would work great aswell

Replace the gaskets. A common problem in for them to leak and need replacing.
