Hi guys, I'm not one for just joining forums and then asking stupid questions but I've done a quick search of the forum and yielded no results, my engine has started hunting, probably bouncing on idle once every 2-3 seconds, but then on occasion it will go nuts and bounce once every second, still at idle, also when I come to a set of lights or a junction the engine will idle high, say 1000rpm but when the brake pedal is pressed it will drop to normal idle rpm. Now I hope it's just a tps or something simple and I've checked for vacuum leaks or anything that seems amiss, I'm stuck! The car is manual d16y5 with p2j-1 head

Is the check engine light on? If so, get the codes checked and report back.
The first thing I would do is clean the iacv and calibrate the tps. There are very good writups on how to do them. Just google. Also your egr chamber could probably use a cleaning and should make a big difference. Teggers.com has a great writeup. Try those things and report back.
