Default help wit my headlight bulb/socket crap...

on my prelude, the left headlight just went out. I figured i just blew a bulb or somethin, tried changing it and it's still out. The thing is, my socket (plugs into the back of the bulb) is broken in half, but it still plugs in. It's been like this for awhile but it still worked like this until now. I tried checking all of the fuses also. I went to Honda and they told me I had to buy the whole ******* harness which is 243$$$$. Can someone help me out??? thanks, just tell me if you need anymore clarification.

are you alking about that little ceramic piece that the light bulb goes into? if so, you can buy those separate, i know, b/c i had to. if you have to replace the plug on the harness itself, your best bet is going to be to find a junkyard and go but the pigtail off of it.

im talking about the harness that plugs into the ceramic bulb holder thingy majiger. Do you know of any other cars that may have the same harness ****????? I'm thinking of just taking the harness off and just soldering the wires onto the ceramic thing.
