Same thing happend to me but when i had some aftermarket bullshit bulbs and the whole plastic harness melted apart . i still don't know why it happend i think it was because the bulb had to many watts. I bought some piaa gt bulbs and they never burned the wire. i don't know if i should buy the harness from the honda dealer or there is also this headlight harness upgrade on ebay for like $40 bucks i don't know what to do either . to look for the harnes on ebay search for civic harness .

got to hot, go to a junk yard and clip the plugs off of a other harness. Soldier your new plugs on!

i did the same thing when i try to put 100w bulbs in and lucky for me the bulbs butrnt out before anything could have shorted or melted, then i learned never put a larger watt bulb or fuse for replacement anywhere in your car.
