Default Tranny Additive

Heya,

Can anyone recommend a good tranny additive for the ITR? I am having some notchy shifts and thinking I need to add something to make it all work a bit smoother.

This is a new symptom after I had my 3rd gear synchro replaced under warranty by Honda in Melbourne, Australia.

Thanks guys!

Very simple, like said before change all the fluid and go back to Honda MTF.

When I changed my tranny fluid my tranny felt soo much smoother. Don't buy any of those addictives that you see on T.V becuase Honda MTF is the best.

I have also heard good things about GM Synchromesh. The only good thing I have ever heard of a GM product I might add.

Stock fluid is the best for stock tranny.

Castrol Syntrax..... tried and proven to take away the notchiness and even crunches.

I've heard some mixed things about the Nulon stuff... I had it in before I had the synchro replaced and it made no diff. I heard that it can also have negative effect.... as I said, some rave on about it, some hate it.

I think I may try Syntrax on the weekend too.
