Take it back to the 90's [ED7 build]
Hey my name is Mike, 23, residing in North Carolina. Love hondas and want to learn more about them.
Well just picked it up today for $938.
1990 Honda Civic Si Hatchback
Bone stock with 247,400 original miles
I don't know if I got ripped off, but it was in my budget and the car runs great.
It's definitely a fixer upper.
Minor bads:
-Check engine light comes on after driving around 5 miles (I don't know why)
-Speedometer does not work (How much will this cost to fix?)
-I filled it up with a full tank and the needle does not go up all the way (Should I just replace the whole cluster?)
That's basically it, just needs a little tender love and care
I'd appreciate feedback and advice if possible
But I'm really happy with it and excited to learn more about the car.
Join me in this thread to see the journey I go through, I plan to keep the car for awhile since it's my first used car ever!
Anyways here are a couple of pictures I shot with my crappy phone:

Looks good for under a stack.
Spedometer cable might be broken or not hooked up to the back of the cluster.
Take off the cluster cover and see if it is hooked up.
