Doing my oil change and the stud or whatever it's called came out with the oil filter how do u put it back in

 

well i would take some thick tape wrap it around on threads hold with channel locks and try to unscrew it that way.

Or

try to see if there is any type of cut of grove that you can hold it againist. I dont think there was an allen key style that would fit in there

 

Call me crazy, but that looks like it broke off, there should be a thicker flange where it holds down the oil cooler, and the threads that go into the block, that piece should be 3 inches long.

 

thats the samething that I thought initally but when you look at the threads and the top base its all smooth and clean cut
