Default WTB: B-Series Transmission

Looking for a B-series MANUAL HYDRO transmission. MUST be in good shape, no grinding, no popping out, nothing wrong with it, etc.

I have the OEM tranny for my 99 LS right now.

I'd take another LS (depending on price) but ideally I'd rather upgrade (might as well, right?).

I'm planning on building this as a reliable and fun daily driver while I save money and take care of debt, etc. that has universal appeal/potential for whoever I will sell it to a year or so from now. (Unless someone wants the car as is now with a slight bit of tranny grindage here and there! ;D)

Even though it's possibly asking for too much, I'm only really looking to spend around $800 or $900 max for the good stuff since I don't want to throw *too* much money into this based on my goals.

So based on that:

HIGHLY Interested in:

* GSR Transmission (Super highly if it has LSD and is within my price range)
* Type-R Transmission (assuming within my price range)

as these can be used for pretty much any purpose or application.

I would also take:

* B16 transmission (again, a plus if it has LSD)
* LS (b18b1) transmission

I'm also willing to pay for shipping, and I believe I can also tell you how to ship it if needed. From what I understand, B-series trannys only weigh around 75 pounds or so, so should be able to ship through generic FedEx or UPS or whatever. We can talk about that though if we have to.

If you're local (in Colorado as far north as Denver or as far south as Pueblo or thereabouts) I can just probably pick it up or meet you.

Let me know what you have if anything, thanks!

Thanks!

Btw, my only concern with the b16's is that I want this as more of a daily driver (but fun, yes!) I'm not sure I want to sacrifice fuel economy for better B16 acceleration, though it is tempting.

We'll see if anything else comes up. Mostly hoping for a GSR trans, but I also don't need one immediately.

Fuel economy? Your talking about pennies here. I drive 20 miles one way to work on a k series type r still get about 30-33 mpg. On this transmission I drove on a 391whp street tune and still averaged 26 mpg sometime pulling on a few d bags for fun.

I also have a spare bone stock GSR for 500 plus shipping if your really serious and need one now. I havent placed anything for sale in an ad and don't really need to sell anything I have. Later if you wanted you could change out the final drive. PM me if you want it.
