CCC Racing 8.91 @ 170mph for the True Street Record !!
Crazy Weekend for the CCC Racing Team. We show up to capitol Friday night to make a qualification pass, we ran a 10.3@172mph, Juan red-lit and then just hit it down the track to get a log. We realized that we didn’t have the extra fuel in the trailer to run the car for the weekend, so we decided to then head to MIR to get some Q16. So now we are into Saturday we Qualify 3rd with a 9.29@160 , going into the semi-final we run a 9.03@169 fastest pass of the event, We hurt the car that round and in the semi-finals could not hold the car at the line and rolled to a red light against the winner of the event Jowell From DP.
We traveled to MIR that night, woke up early thanks to Chris Miller for saving the day, he brought us the parts that we needed to make a run. We got the car done just in time for qualification for True Street. We make a hit 9.51@161 to take #1 spot for the first round of qualification. We made a 2nd round qualification to see if we could do better but the NLR was shutting off and on for us. We got it fixed wanted to see if it worked , we had a bye round but decided to make a hit, 8.91@170 with the hood about to pop off. We were so happy because that was one of our goals for this year! We knew we were heading down the right path. We then turned up the boost a little more for the 2nd round, we cut the same short track number but 4th would not go in. We lost to Justin HPC Ef hatch. We didn’t win any of the events but getting the True Street Record was fine for me!
We will be getting the car ready for the Fall SFWD shootout and looking to better our time @ Etown.

Not sure, we just changed the 3+4 slider that went bad at honda day and also added a puck that liberty made to get shaft speed data. We will see tonight, we are still on the stock shifter, need to get the G-force shifter in the car!

Congrats guys! Is the turbo thats on the car (says PTE 6785 in the vid) a custom piece by them? Thought the biggest they made was the 6776? Either way, great work fellas! MIR must have gorilla glue on that track to hold down the power you guys are making there lol!!
