A very cherry car, owned by a little old lady school teacher in Southern California. Garaged and well maintained, except for recent cracked windshield. Automatic, 151k. The car is now in the Bay Area, CA. Does anybody know the resale value of this baby?

 

Hard to say without pics. A perfect condition one, to the right person might net you between 3-4k at the highest. With that mileage, I'd say a bit less, maybe 2-3k, still, assuming it's perfect. You will have to be patient, or lucky to get that kind of money though.

Cool, don't forget to check or have the timing belt checked or replaced.... the age is as important as the mileage. The heat of socal... can be detrimental.

I have an 83 LX also with ~75k Original miles. It smokes a bit and doesn't seem to have much power but it starts every time. The interior and exterior are in really good condition except for a rust spot on the roof. You can see it in my profile pic. Any idea what i could sell it for?

 

You almost have to hold out for it.

Don't let it go as a "used car" because it's not.

Somebody will want it and pay for it.
