Innovative mounts and hasports mounts
I want to hear from people running 3 innovative/hasports mounts and how they like it... Anyone using all 4 from innovative? What's the purpose of the 4th if all3 work? Do the 3 not hold as tight without their fourth? Less rattle? More performancey engines use the fourth more often than not? What....?
driven a b swapped hatch with hasport mounts for like a month rattled the steering wheel, seat, all the change it the ashtray at idle. Also drove a friends ls swapped crx with innovative mounts it vibrated less then the hasport but still did shake. It was only running 3 mounts. 3 mounts are fine as long as your not trying to keep the motor 100% still and pus 500+ whp

Hasport mounts here with 0 complaints. The vibration is a given unless you're replacing mounts with stock mounts. I've seen pics of broken Innovative mounts (not the inserts but the metal body of the mount itself) so that's probably why they implemented a 4th mount.
My little bro, years ago, once had an issue with one of his Hasport mount inserts deteriorating. No worries there though because Hasport stood behind their product and shipped him a brand new replacement mount with the quickness after one quick phone call. No telling how old that mount was too.

We had Hasport mounts in both of our race cars, K series in RSX, LS/VTEC in EG. Also run them in B series CRX. I would only run Hasport but that is me.
I have Hasport billet mount in my CRX with a B16A swap and the 3 mounts do a great hob holding everything in place with a minimal amount of vibrations IMO.
I do however love my black steal Innovative 75A mounts in my Integra as they have a slight bevel on the bushing to alleviate vibrations and a lot less bling bling.
You really cannot go wrong with both companies because they both make great products, but the Innovative mounts are usually a little cheaper on the budget.

Well I'm having a problem trying to get my new OEM front tranny mount to fit. I was running one with the previous engine (d15b2). Then after the swap the front mount didn't fit. Like the crossmember was too close to the engine. Can't back the engine up anymore as it'll hit the firewall haha. (previous post lists my setup).
Could it be as easy as "all the other mounts are fucked too giving too much slack and makin the engine lean too forward?" the mounting holes on the crossmember and the mount itself are about a 1/2 inch away from each other.
I have a brand new set of innovative mounts that doesn't use the front (just the 3 others). I don't want to go through the whole process of replacing them if it's just gonna **** up.

OH SNAP! he still alive!!!
op, when you say it doesn't fit, does it line up, but doesn't go in? have you tried using a hammer, or a pry bar to see if it'll budge?
I cannot pry the mount enough to get the holes to line up... could my tie rods be bent and be pulling the crossmember somehow? or the bushings be shot on them which is pulling on it....? Don't see any frame damage
EDIT:
hmm.... by chance you have the mount upside down?
and tie rods wouldn't hold anything. only things are the 4mounts. ether front lower rad support or sub frame is wack.

nope, mount can only go on one way... it's shaped with a 45° angle on a side so it would REALLY be off if I had it upside down.
Well I mean currently I'm just trying to use my Honda OEM mount. I have innovative mounts but don't want to have to go through the whole process of removing them all if I can get the front one in instead.
I am running Hasport 62A billet mounts with a B20 in my hatch. I absolutely love everything about them. Fitment is perfect, very solid and not too bad vibration.
i have hasport 94a insert the ones before the sold mounts, car vibrate like crazy but can you expect from a 20 year old car. love the way these mounts feel
I run the innovative mounts now. Originally had some, fairly worn, off brand mounts on the car that actually caused the upper trans mount bracket to rip off the frame and several stress cracks at the rear mount on the crossmember. I fixed these issues and put the innovative traction bar and front mount on. Which helped for a long time. Then after having issues shifting into 3rd comming off a corner at the track I bought the other three innovative aluminum race mounts (black bushings). I like them but had some problems putting the upper trans one in. I think it was due to my previous replacement of the mount bracket.
