Brakes really soft after clutch replacement
So I finally replaced my clutch today but now my brakes are really soft and I have to press the pedal to the floor in order to stop. My cylinder is full and there is no way air could've gotten in my lines. The brakes were amazing before this and now they suck ***. Can anyone help me please?
Probably a coincidence. The 2 systems are totally independent from each other, and you shouldn't be messing with any braking components for a clutch job. These cars are over 20yrs old so some things are bound to need replacing.
What's the first thing I should check. I just looked under my car and around my master cylinder to see if they're any leaks and I didn't see any. I'm going to check and see if maby one of the lines is pinched so hopefully that is all.
When you pulled the knuckle/axle on the passenger side out you did maneuver the brake line for that wheel.
Make sure it's not something over there.

Ok, bled all the brakes and I had air in the front left. I had to bleed it 4 times until air came out. Thank God I didn't have to buy a new BMC.
Question is now: how did you get air in the line without ever opening the lines?
Did you see anything wet that would suggest a leak?
