Default Need help!!!

My ISB is toast so while i have the trans open figure I would give it a good look over and replace all the bearings...

Well i took the differential out of the case and noticed the diff pin wiggles back and forth. Is this normal?

Its a D17a2 2004 civic ex.....my commuter car.

It is normal for the diff pin to move a little. It can wear from one tire spinning in the snow or from racing but this is not usually an issue on the D17 Civic. However, if the spider gears show signs of wear you should replace the diff.
