I called them up and briefly explained my situation to Sam. He told me that he understands that there have been a few issues with the hood and that is why they are no longer having them made.

Without hessitating, he gave me the option of a refund or a new hood. I decided to take the refund because I don't feel very confident anymore. Hood was returned and a check was written.

Dennis, glad to see that you solved this whole situation. Are you going to leave the stock hood on or are you considering a new hood?
