I have a 02 civic auto Car works fine usually had a battery replacement but it seems their is some fuel issue the car wont start until about the 15 time I crank it then I just smell gas everywhere is this a fuel issue does my pump need replacement how I go about Troubleshooting this before I have to go spend money to fix it

 

Check for a fuel leak.

 

Sounds like a lack of ignition spark maybe, guessing the pump works to smell the fuel! . . . . Maybe check the fuel rail for pressure?

 

Sounds like a leak....when it finally gets enough fuel inside the cylinder it starts.
