A6 Head Rebuild. What do I need to buy from honda? *PICS*
Basically I wanna rebuild my head. Its a d16a6 but has aftermarket cam, cam g ear, springs, valves. I basically just wanna rebuild it but am not quite sure what parts get rebuilt/changed when rebuilding a head.
I want to order the repairable parts from honda, give them to my machine shop and have them clean and re-assemble.
After some research I think I may only need valve stem seals, cam seal, and the seals in this picture, which Ive never seen but I guess the a6 has them.

(I found this pic and this info in antoerh thread, I need 3 of the circles and one of the figure 8's I guess)??
91301-PJ7-000 O-RING (31X2.5) <-- the three round ones
91302-PJ7-003 O-RING (NO.4 CAM HOLDER) (ARAI) <-- the number 8 shaped one
Anyways Im quite unsure how to go about this head rebuild, I dont wanna simply brin ghte head to the shop and ask them to rebuild it, in fear of them not replacing the parts, using inferior parts etc.
Can anyone help me out with part numbers, and how many of each I would need for this head rebuild?
I would love any help, all appreciated.

Did you click on the link for partsgeek I posted in your other thread?
If you scroll down to the Ishino HG set and look at the picture you'll see that all these seals, o-rings and valve stem seals are included.
And like I said in the other thread, Ishino is a OE supplier.
Honda doesn't make gaskets, belts, etc themselves. They have other companies build them for Honda and then sell it under the Honda brand. Ishino is one of those companies.
If you wanna rebuild the head, you change all seals, gaskets, o-rings and valve guides, have the head resurfaced and have the valve seats reground. That's about it. You may want to get new head bolts.
If you wanna go 100%, measure valves, springs and cam if they're still in spec for all the different measurements

Well Im really just hoping to get a parts list for what I actually need. Neither of those kits come with the o-rings listed. I was hoping some had a parts list.
Ex 16 valve guides parts number 1434-sh2-002, 1 cam seal part number 349324 etc
Hoping someone could break it down. There are a few pieces I want to buy oem, and some like the headgasket, intake gasket that I wanna buy aftermarket.
I appreciate the help, hope I cleared that up a little

You can make your own parts list if you look at the links in the FAQ that "dickdragon" is referring to. Also a Factory Service Manual (FSM) will show you everything you'll need to know.
That's the last time I say it....THEY HAVE ALL THE PARTS YOU NEED...INCLUDING those o-rings
You can look up the part numbers here:

One of the two autozone top-end gasket sets does have the rocker assembly o-rings you're asking about. I found this out after I ordered a set from majestic honda.
