I'm not bashing no one just want some info


Hi just want to know if any one of the liberty tranny user has this problem before ?? I broke this 2nd gear right on the weld. The gear looks mint it just the engament part of the weld it came right of I don't know if it could be a defect ?? And I haven't call liberty yet cuz I'm just open my tranny but I will tomorow.

 

Why wouldn't you contact liberty first?

 

Looks like a lack of penetration in the weld.

 

never heard of this problem but it doesn't cost much to fix.

 

They changed the face plates to a 7 cog from a 9. they are much stronger now. The only problem is you have to buy the opposite gear and new slider.

 

i believe they only changed to 7 lug on the 3 and 4 gear.

I don't think that I will get that gear on time to make to the event but I will be the on the stand and helping out a few of my boy with their cars

It's a 33

 

Thats an older gear. The newer ones are one peice.

 

Yes its the older style one and I already contact liberty they said that they will warranty if there is something that fail on their end I already ship the gear out and I will have to up grade 1ro and 2nd gear
