FUEL / COOLANT GAUGE NOT LIGHTING UP
Question..my coolant and gas meter gauges on my dashboard not lighting up..so i cant really tell if my car is overheating or how much fuel i have. Whats the easiest way to fix these two issues besides replacing the bulbs or the dash??
Did they just stop working out of the blue? I would wonder if the plug vibrated loose, or a wire has been compromised in the harness, so a new gauge may not fix the problem.
Yeah, check your wiring. you could even use a multimeter while the car is running to be more precise about it. then replace the cluster, theres a member on PreludePower selling several clusters for a nice price.
When you say not lighting up - do you mean the cluster lights that light up the fuel & temp gauges aren't working, or the gauges themselves aren't working?
Hey guys..sry I'm jus replying...and yes the fuel and temp gauge not working..It started flickering and then just went out..I've checked and double-checked. Didn't do multimeter check though..replaced it twice with other ones and same issue.
