Icon2 FUEL / COOLANT GAUGE NOT LIGHTING UP

Question..my coolant and gas meter gauges on my dashboard not lighting up..so i cant really tell if my car is overheating or how much fuel i have. Whats the easiest way to fix these two issues besides replacing the bulbs or the dash??

1.buy after market meter and wired it up.
2.replace the fuel/temp cluster.

I just got back from the junkyard..no luck finding one intact. Don't want to spend too much online.

Did they just stop working out of the blue? I would wonder if the plug vibrated loose, or a wire has been compromised in the harness, so a new gauge may not fix the problem.

Yeah, check your wiring. you could even use a multimeter while the car is running to be more precise about it. then replace the cluster, theres a member on PreludePower selling several clusters for a nice price.

When you say not lighting up - do you mean the cluster lights that light up the fuel & temp gauges aren't working, or the gauges themselves aren't working?
