My Crane cam specs. Good for boost?
The head I have is a sohc d16a6. Came with a crane cam installed. I am trying to determine if it will be a good cam for a DD going for 15-20 psi of boost on a smaller t3 turbo. Here are the specs.
------------------Int/Exh Int/Exh Seperation Gross Lift
------OEM D16A6 222/224 194/196 110 333/362
Crane #251-0014 232/228 206/202 110 394/376
Im curious why there is 2 sets of int/exh aswell, 4 valves?
Could I expect this cam to be a substantial power gainer over stock?
Looking forward to being a little informed on what I have and where Im going with this project

Ive ran it for some time, I just wanted to know about it, what it helps and why maybe a little
I did notice it was spec'd as there turbo cam, but dont know what the specs I listed actually emphasize or improve

with an NA cam, you want high lift and long duration
with a turbo cam, you want a shorter duration..closing the valves earlier.
Now on some high horsepower set ups, they tend to use some overlap.. but its all about what power goal is on the engine and usage.. Street, Strip or AutoX
does this answer your question?
