Car: 99 Honda Accord i-4 ex auto
Alarm: Factory honda


Hey Honda-Tech,

I have looked far and wide for answers and even asked here with out success. This always was the place to go but now most of the pros have moved on in life.
I hope people can help me now still.

Problem:

The car is Bone stock. It only has an aftermarket radio deck. Everything on the car is functional. NO FOB.
When I open my driver side door the alarm goes off. close to 15 minutes to stop on its own. It is still possible to start the car when it does this. When I open the passenger side. Nothing happens, this is the way i open and drive everyday.

I want to get the driver side fixed so I dont have to keep entering through the passenger side door.

What is the problem?
How can it be fixed with out buying a FOB, key less entry or over 30 bucks to fix?
Please I am not going to cut the horn.

Please give me help so I may help others with this situation as well.

 

Can you look under dash and see if it indeed a factory alarm.

 

Yes it is indeed the factory alarm. There have been other related post similar to this and I known others who has this problem but never a solution.
