Is it me or are many of us "Integra" owners always waiting for that special day, that day when or beloved cars are taken away from us... I wanted to post this up in the type r forum because it seems like their have been a lot of incidents within THIS past month. How many of us can walk away and feel that our cars are safe from harms way? I bought the new DEI Responder remote with back up battery and tilt sensor, also equiped with an autlock and yet i still feel unsafe. We should post our incidents in one thread hopefully determining where thieves specifically target the most. One month, each of my 3 friends' integras where stolen and stripped. Just wanted to shed some insight on this subject.

i know, it's insane how much theft we get.. that's why i haven't driven my car in almost a week.. i just leave it at home 'cuz the only place i go to really is school

 

School sucks too, CSU Poly Pomona has so many incidents with car thefts. My friends friend had his 95 stock accord stolen last week. Good for nothing campus parking security...

 

It'll never end until there are no more which means no more demand.

 

I HATE THAT F**kING SCHOOL, My car has gotten broken into there 2 times. Once I was close enough for my pager to alert me, i made it there on time, but the theivs saw/heard me coming, so they left. A few days ago, theives once again got in, but they didnt take anything, just left my doors/hood open, clearly searched everything, nothing was tamperd with or taken. Never taking my car there again.

 

i feel bad, but will all this theft i'm sort of glad i live in michigan.

i constantly get people asking me if thats a custom paint job, where i got my valve cover painted, and if thats a V-6 under the hood.

ignorance is bliss i guess, but hey i'm happy as long as my car doesn't get stolen

 

the main question here is if it is real cause you hardly ever see one on the road? People here are too ignorant to realize what a great car it is

Theres a guy that owns a R near me and his sits outside in his apt parking lot every night.

 

I dunno if you guys already know this but INTEGRAS are the #1 stolen cars this year.

It really sucks! I've had one car stolen...My R nearly stolen...and I can't leave my car anywhere without worring...

People who steal cars are only part of the problem...the other part? people who buy stolen parts!

Hey man, are you serious? Lame security parking people do nothing!!!!! Yea, my pager has a hard time getting reception because of the stupid hill. I think we should have a new section for stolen tegs. Knowing where people strike the most or how many times an integra gets jacked on a day to day basis will be good info. Maybe we can take it somewhere, either to the police or honda/acura. Someone has to do something right? Soon the k20's will be seen on every civic/hb and etc.

Dude, I don't think it's too smart of you to map out where your alarms pager works and where it doesn't on campus.....now all they would need to do is have someone follow you (or follow anyone else who has a pager alarm) and alert the thieves when you go to one of the places where you get no reception.

I would edit the specifics out of your post, if I were you.
