broken bottom strut bolt
I was replacing the springs,on my car and came across the bottom bolt in the rear that holds the strut in place was seized and I broke to head off of it....is it possible to get it drilled out?
the nut on the opposite end is part of the strut i believe. im not sure what you can do to get the broken bolt out but you might have to get a die grinder and cut the strut to remove it and buy a new strut. its not a bad idea if your lowering your car.
it should be part of the strut.
happened to me many of times.
i just used a angle grinder and ground off the nut. and then hit it out with a punch
