Need Help Removing Rear Shocks!!
I'm installing a new set of coilovers and I cannot get the rear shock out of the car. I have removed the bolt at the bottom of the shock, the bolt on the locating arm, and the bolts on top of the shock inside the hatch.
I am pushing down on the rotor to so I can pull the shock forward and out, but I can't get enough clearance to yank that sucker out. I have GAB shocks, so the adjuster on top of the shock may be a bit taller than the stock shocks. I have pushed down on that rotor as hard as possible (full weight) and it still will not clear.
Any advice?

Edit: Maybe thats the rear sway bar...
Anyway...follow the arm back and take the one bolt off...lower the rotor and you should barely be able to pull the shock out...
Hope that helps...sorry about my lack of knowledge of car part names...

If you're having a hard time, try disconnecting the rear swaybar.
Thanks!
Also, you can make sure you have the whole rear end jacked up, then press on both rotors at the same time with both shocks disconnected.

Is there any "glue" to seat the thread? I can't get the required torque spec on the top D-bracket sway bolt (bottom one is on tight)... **** rotates forever.
On the SI endlinks, there is a allen head in the endlinks so that you can hold them while you tighten it. I would guess the ITRs have it the same?

doh, I missed the part about it being the d-bracket bolt.
I would drill the threads out, get a longer bolt, and put a nut on the end.
