I have a 1989 civic sedan Dx b18a1 obd1 swap.


I bought the car with integra ghetto rigged interior and engine wiring harness.Car starts but runs like ****/rich.

Bought a 89 sedan shell and swapped out the whole interior wiring.
Bought a dpfi to obd1 and also bought a obd0-obd1 ecu jumper harness.

The car wont start/crank. No clicking on the starter.
Main relay clicks i can smell fuel. Fuel pump primes.
Checked fuse, ground, etc.
Cant seem to find the prob.

Any help appreciated

 

So you swappe the wiring just from the Interior? Engine harness? Seems you have to trace the wires if nothing is cranking. Are you getting a spark?

 

yes basically everything.

trace the wires seems to be good. headlights and everything work.
i cant check for spark cause it doesnt crank.
no click on starter

 

got my car to start,
found out i forgot to put the starter relay.

got the starter relay from the integra ghetto wiring.
started right up.

But it start then dies. takes couple of tries to get it to idle.
idles about like 100-300 very low idle.

I can also hear really loud hissing noise from the intake manifold.

 

That would be a vacuum leak.
