I have a 2000 accord v6 auto. So my car has a j30 motor in it. I was wanting to know if I could a tranny swap with a Acura CL 6spd. It has a j32. Would that work or not? I would see no problem with it but I just need addition information so i don't waste my money on something that doesn't work. Can anyone help?

Just a couple of threads for you to look over. I put a honda j30a1 in my acura cl, and it was a PITA. And that was just the motor from a 99 accord to a 99 acura.

Acura and honda seem to like to put small but aggrivating differences between the two cars.

Oh sweet! Thanks guys! To make this easier do you know if there is a accord with a v6 that's standard? I think that would make is so much easier!
