Adios to Hondas (and my S2k) for a while.
Well, it has been a good run. After owning three of the best (and only cars) I could dream of owning I have moved on.
To be honest, as much as I loved the S2000, I shouldn't have traded in my Civic Si for it. The Si was an all around better car for me right now but I got anxious and impatient and did something stupid.
Right after I got the S2000, the top was cut open and that quickly made me rethink whether or not this was the type of car I should own as a college student living in Portland.
Now, to help pay for school and to be more practical I sold my S2000 and bought a 2000 Toyota RAV4 with AWD and a manual transmission. It is a great little crossover and I am sure it will treat me well. I was really wanting a small SUV for mountain biking, camping, etc. but it HAD to be AWD and it HAD to be a manual transmission. I considered a CRV to stay in the Honda family but in my opinion the RAV4 is a little more solid and a lot easier to find with low mileage and a clean title.
Thanks for the good times and I am sure I will be back!!!
Quick timeline of my Hondas for anyone that cares!
1989 Honda Civic DX

2003 Honda Civic Si

2004 Honda S2000

2000 Toyota RAV4 (current car)
