2007 Honda Civic EX - A/C troubles
Air conditioner went out, was using by hitting on the passenger side by glove compartment until yesterday went out all together. This is what I've found so far...
1) blown 40a fuse under hood, replaced it
2) did hvac self test, I get 6 blinks a small pause then again (need to know)
3) blower does not run (have a new one have not install yet)
4) transistor shorted out? (haven't check yet)

Tested the blower as followed, removed transistor then jump out the two biggest wires hat are the ones triggered by the NPN transistor and blower would run slow and stop, thought maybe not a true ground and ground or negative as you might want to call it since negative is grounded and was "0" ohms therefore a true ground so knew blower was bad, tested transistor with ohmmeter and was shorted which explains the blown fuse because blower tried to run all the time and took the fuse...
replaced transistor and blower and back in business...
