Default My back up fuse keeps burning out!

So yesterday my radio and clock stopped working so I checked the fuse and apparently my back up fuse under the hood burned out so I bought some 7.5 amp fuse and replaced the burned one. Then today, it burned out again. What could be the problem and how can I fix it? It has happened 4 times in total ever since owning the car. The car is a 1992 honda civic sedan btw.

Something in the circuit is shorting out. It's usually damn near impossible to know which wire(s) to check for shorts without a service manual or wire schematics. Popular forum, somebody will probably come along and tell ya which wires to check.

Not at all. You just need to know which wire(s) to check- and for that you need a service manual or wire schematic. And know how to use a multi-meter.

It's generally the constant power wire (Wht/Blu) at the rear of the radio that is shorting out.

Yeah it is the White and Blue wire that could be the problem. Do you know what I should do? It's a blue wire with a white stripe right?
