Fellas i have a civic SI with more than 170K on it. My mods are

1) Exhaust
2) Header
3) 17 Inch Rims
4) Full Catback Exhaust
5) Cold air Intake

I was curious to see if i put a turbo kit / supercharger or do an LS/Vtec swap then are there going to be any consequences regarding breaking something as i drive this car daily back and forth to work

Consequences? Do it wrong and it will break. Do it right and it will last forever if it's maintained. That goes for whatever you plan on doing with it.

Now do you have any SPECIFIC questions you need answered?

 

id do a mild rebuild before i turbo'ed or s/c'ed anything with 170k

Thanks. I guess i'll do lots of reading before i take my next step. Might replace the motor with another less mile SI or Integra GSR motor & transmission with less miles.

this isn't an area you want to spoonfed in, it will end badly. Now, we can make suggestions, but beware, there's going to be 40 of them. Some of them being just flat out stupid.
