okay so just like the tittle says.. i have a no start condition on my 96 ex.. i just replaced the head gasket, water pump, tensioner, radiator, and timing belt.. now after i got done with all the replacements and put the dizzy back on the head the car started and idle real low, so i figure no big d ill just adv timing a little bit and check the crank mark.. after doing this the car shut off and hasn't started in the last 2 days.. i found out this morning that i fouled the plugs, so i replaced those and still no start.. Do you guys think that it is something inside the dizzy? or do you think i messed up the crank shaft wobble sensor or whatever that thing is called behind the crank pully. i need to fix this Asap because this is the only car that i have to get me and my son around .. Any kinda of help would be greatly appreciated. Oo yea and everything is on TDC perfectly.

 

What does it do when you try to start it? Did the plugs foul after just the one start, or could they have been fauled before? What do they look like (white, black, etc)?

 

start with your basics.
check compression
check SPARK
check fuel
DOUBLE check timing.

also if your battery isnt fully charged or you have doubts charge the battery.
check all your ground points, thermostat ring terminal, chasis grounds, battery ground,
post back with results please dont skip over anything double check and triple check before your reply.

 

Thnk u guys for the quick replay I figured out what was wrong with the car.. I had left the car at my parents house and my father decided it was a good idea to try and fix the car himself.. He was 180 out on the dizzy and he had the wrong firing order.. It took him 2 days to admit it..
