Default Civic Trade Good or Bad?

Okay so I have a 98 civic hatch with a d16y7 in it. I bought the car for 1600 bucks and have done a few minor things to it so I believe I'm at about 2grand spent on the car. The interior is completely gutted and has no carpet or backseats. The motor is in good condition with 130,000 miles on it but the body isn't in the best condition. So someone has a 96 hatch with a GSR swap and the exterior is super clean. He said he just wants to start over and wants to trade for my car. I would be adding 1500 dollars and my subs for a car. I think I'm getting a pretty good deal but I wanted to see what you guys think. I'll try and add some pictures if I can.

Picutres, history, compression test, leakdown test, remove valve cover, inspect ECU, harness, check for codes, check for tranny grinds, frame damage.
